HUB North Shore Committee regular meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30pm - 8:30pm. For this meeting we will meet on Wednesday December 13 to accommodate social time. Everybody is welcome.

In-person at the North Vancouver City Library (14th/Lonsdale) in the Don Preston Boardroom (2nd floor).

    • Examples of how best dealt with welcome
  1. Right turn lane hazard - DNV will add flex posts on a case by case basis
    • "Debugging the network" - please pass on examples where most needed to Duncan.

January is budget time. Plan to advocate at DNV Council meetings

  1. Mtn Hwy: Ross Road to Arborlynn - money is budgeted for 2025. If we want it in 2024, we need to convince council to allocate the funds.

Schools - Paul Janzen

  • 2023 Year in Review:
    • 156 schools + 59 outside Greater Vancouver = 215 total
    • 17,363 students + 6,105 outside Greater Vancouver = 23,468
      • 9.9% Increase
    • Trout Lake Streetwise programs:
      • 105 courses, 1,821 participants
  • We have a proposal forthcoming to provide our program to a North Shore private school.
  • Lime program at Shipyards for Dec 2 was postponed.
