West Vancouver Emissions Inventory, Modelling, and Carbon Accounting Framework
- Peter has been appointed to the District of West Vancouver's Environment Committee and they have met twice on 14 November and 5 December.
- Much of the December meeting was taken up by a presentation on the District's emission inventory based on data from 2010 to 2021.
- It was stated that 41% of emissions came from transportation but the prescribed action to reduce emissions from transportation was based primarily on the electrification of commercial and personal vehicles.
- Paul read the report to the Council and noted that there was little mention of active transportation although it did mention creating a Bikes for Business program for in-town deliveries.
