  1. June 20 Squamish event with John Weston

  2. Low Level Road Update (Tony, 2 min)
    • will fix storm drains
    • bike lane on Cotton on north side - City will do it
    • Nelson can't get on road when no cars at the light
    • letdown at st patricks to get on the Spirit Trail
    • lights have been put on Spirit Trial to Moodyville Park
    • city will add cyclist activated light at the signalled intersection going east into Moodyville park
  1. Bike to Work Week (BTWW)summary and plans for the fall (Dianne 10 min)
    • Dianne followed up with Mot and got agreement for a BTWW station at the north end of the Iron workers memorial bridge
    • When she a approached HUB about insurance found out HUB also negotiating with MoT
    • perhaps a commercial sponsor will do it - Dianne will follow up

Antje at blue ridge day and Dianne, fiona Eirka Nelson and peter at west van community day - HUB was not a MEC bikefest

    • Antje suggested that as we did previously, we should prepare a flyer with HUB objectives and accomplishments

Erika suggest bringing an iPad to register new members Don suggest making list of people's concerns

  1. Upcoming events:
    • Canada day parade on Lonsdale
    • Tony will send out a message to see how many people for parade
    • NV city Car free day 22 Aug on Lonsdale
    • booth at night market on Fridays
  1. Plans for Summer 2015 Meetings
    • Group will meet in July 2015 as planned

New Business:

  1. Safe Routes Advocacy (SRA) - SRA is investigating the possibility of purchasing a double-spread in the North Shore News for "back to school" week, coming up in September 2015 promoting using active forms of travel to school. We were wondering if HUB would be a sponsor to assist in funding the project.
    • we should consider our $400 or perhaps HUB HQ would be interested
