  • HUB HQ report (Ellie)
    • Bike to shop day 13-Aug – Celebration station @ Park Royal
      • Need posters earlier so we can distribute them on the NS.
    • Bike the Night in Sep
    • Advocacy training session at Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place conference in Sep lead by Erin O'Melinn of HUB HQ
    • UnGapTheMap – working on next steps
    • Tony to nominate Peter for award
    • Nominations open for HUB BoD positions
  • Upcoming Events:
    • Car Free day – have table for Saturday the 13th only
    • CNV movie night Fri 19th
      • Antje – has part for a game, needs to be finished
      • HUB HQ – may have leftover (snacks) we can use
      • Get game & flags from HUB HQ – who to pickup?
    • Coho Festival 11-Sep – would need a prime contact (Dianne) and 6 staff
      • Still confirming if we can have a booth with Coho Society
    • 21-Sep HUB Members Picnic – not organizing a group ride from the North Shore
    • 28-Aug Fraserfest – 2 cycle routes to Ambleside – need 2 leads + 2 sweeps:
      • Fiona leading the long one (10:00-14:00) – ask for help on yahoo group.
    • Bike to Work Week – 23-30 Oct-2016
    • Passion bike event next summer – Tony reported on dawn bike ride events in Europe
      • On Bike Day in Canada (May) or on Weekend?
      • Further development of idea is required
    • Bike rides tied to existing events “North Shore Art Crawl” or “Art in the Garden”?
      • Need prime to contact NS Arts Council: Tony/Antje/Martin
  • DNV
    • LV road cross section – 3.3m roadways reduced from 3.5m, 1.7/1.8m bike lanes with flexi-bollard
    • Hwy 1 underpass – next year (N of hwy only) must be complete before new Bosa buildings in Lynn Valley receive occupancy permits and work is coordinated by Bosa
    • Cap road – painted bike lanes only? - Don & Martin to inquire
    • DNV library – interested in bike repair stations (based on king county WA, Vashon Branch)
      • Phibbs exchange has one - but not well publicized or visible
      • Add these to bike maps & public secure bike parking would be a great benefit to riders.
  • CNV
    • 3rd Oct – AAA discussion with council – adjust definition based on Kay's results
    • Add cycle issues to their CityFix app (bylaw enforcement?) - who will make request?
  • DWV
    • Need update on Royal Ave in Horseshoe Bay decision by council
  • North Shore Bike Map: working on new print run
    • Antje to get permission from TransLink to use latest map edition
