2023 Action Plan

New Westminster Local Committee

Objective One - Awareness, Understanding & Support of ATNP

Action(s) to support: 

   Reading parties
   Showing up at council
   Meeting with City planners, engineers, mayor & council
   Writing in support of related motions
   Supporting cycling in media, at public events.

Benefits: The Active Transportation Network Plan is the biggest, and most comprehensive plan we've ever seen for New West. Getting it effectively implemented would vastly improve cycling in New West.

How will you know you've achieved this objective: 

   City will have project fully funded, or funds earmarked for it by 2024.
