Represented North Shore Organizations:

  • DPAC
  • HASTE BC
  • North Shore Safety Council
  • Escape Adventures Cycling
  • North Shore Safe Routes Advocates
  • HUB North Shore

AGENDA:

  • Introduction individuals
  • Organization introductions and 2017 key focuses

  • Cooperation / action brainstorm for 2017 Bike to school week
    • What does each group want from this session?
    • Possible objectives:
      • Gain a common understanding of who is doing what on the North Shore and better understand how each of our organizations acts in the community in order to better understand how to support each other to better achieve our common goals.
  • Ideas:
    • would like to explore is having a school be a cheer station for bike to work week. There are a few CNV schools on the green necklace that may fit nicely in a cheer station location.
    • Breakfast TV show broadcast from the cheer location one day and maybe from Lynn Valley's bike to school week will have a larger reach and show both "bike to school" and "bike to work".
