The southern limit is Chilko and would run along Sharpe (the low volume local road) up to Dewdney Trunk, when it would switch over to an improved (existing) multi-use pathway along the west side of Lougheed (north of Dewdney Trunk) and connect to the Coquitlam Transit Center. The intent is to eliminate as many of the pinch points as possible in between.

Thanks Ken. Can you share general path of the proposed route at this point? Thanks Simon

Hi Simon
Thanks for the positive feedback about finishing off the Barnet lanes and your offer to provide a letter of support for this year’s project (Lougheed-Sharpe Greenway)
At some point we will be engaging you (HUB) on the Lougheed-Sharpe Greenway project and will certainly be looking for a letter of support.
The call for applications has not come out yet from TransLink or from the Province, but the functional design is well underway.
We will be in touch.
