TriCities HUB Committee Meeting Minutes (provisional)

Date/Time: September 6, 2016, 7:00-8:50PM.

Location: Coquitlam Public Library, 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

Attendees: Jack T., Simon W., Helen J., Meredith S.

1. PoCo Grand Prix: Jack participated as a rider on a corporate challenge team. Next year maybe there will be an opportunity for more HUB involvement.

2. Fraser Fest: Simon and Leon led a group ride, low participation unfortunately. Need to ramp up advertising next year.

3. HUB Volunteer gathering, in Stanley Park: Helen went, and got connected to the Tri-Cities Committee.

4. CVG Extension along United Boulevard: no update. MOTI was receptive to the concept of a route behind the big box stores. Jack and Simon will ask for another meeting with City of Coquitlam staff.

5. June letter to City of PoCo re bike signage: has not yet been on an agenda, will monitor TSPW Committee agendas to see outcome.

6. Rochester bike lane: Helen mentioned noticing it had been removed. Simon will investigate.

7. Rivers & Trails festival – upcoming in PoCo: Simon will see if there is an opportunity for HUB involvement.

8. HUB Tri-Cities Action Plan: Meredith presented a draft proposed action plan for the year. Some edits were made. Meredith will send to Simon to put on the wiki site as a working document.
