General

Elections

Elections were held resulting in the following positions. Note that there were only 1 candidate for Chair and Vice chair so no vote was required. Additionally there are multiple positions within each of the other roles so that, once again, no vote was required.

• DNV - Duncan, Stewart, Steven (subject to their acceptance).
• 1st Nations - Kiera with assistance from Leanna. Action item - Don to contact Kiera.

Goals

• We will be submitting an update to our goals in the form of a 2025 Action plan to HUB central

Events

• Bike awards are the next event on the agenda.
• Rides for 2025 were discussed. Priority is to raise awareness about our three priority routes.
  • Main to Marine
  • Harbour to Headwaters
  • Creek to Peak

Suggestions about other possible rides are welcome. Typical duration is an hour to two hours. Helene will be attending training on March 29.

CNV

• January 20 is next meeting.

Heather noted that we should keep a sharp eye on budgeting. We will be submitting a response letter to request for input.

First Nations

• No update this month. Action item - Don will contact Kira.

District of North Vancouver - Duncan/Stephen/Stewart

• No report this month

District of West Vancouver - Paul/Peter/Paul S.

• Paul Stott is relinquishing his duties as DWV liaison. We applaud and thank him for his years of dedication and achievement.
• Peter will be sitting in on budget sessions this month.
• Development along Cypress Bowl road will mean more infrastructure for this area. A study was conducted on the options for AT; however, findings were never made available to us. Action item - Don to investigate the possibility of reviewing this report.
