Temporary solution is to widen sidewalks in front of big box retail outlets. Coquitlam should also consider gravel MUP on south side of United. Total distance is 980m.
Coquitlam and MOTI should build a route behind the big box stores to prevent as many vehicle collisions as possible. Barring this, a multi-use path on the north side of United Boulevard may work.
