TriCities HUB Committee Meeting Minutes (provisional)

Date/Time: March 1, 2016, 7:00-8:50PM.

Location: Coquitlam Public Library, 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

1. Update on meeting at Coquitlam City Hall with Mayor Stewart and staff regarding United Blvd. situation.

Coquitlam expressed support for HUB attempting to secure approval for ROW access by contacting owners directly

Coquitlam expressed support for future follow up meeting with MOTI/Coquitlam/HUB

Meredith offered to determine owner addresses. Jack agreed to contact owners.

2. Port Moody "Transport Moody" strategic transportation plan

Meredith prepared letter of support for Port Moody proposed Transport plan. Discussions about some of the major cycling proposals: dedicated bike lanes on Clarke and St Johns. Further info to be requested.

3. Superweek Bike race, Port Coquitlam, summer 2016.

Committee willing to support info table and volunteer to help with race. Contact initiated with organizers.

4. Municipal gaps in ungap the map. Colin would like us to identify smaller municipal gaps as well as larger ones.

5. Canada Bike Day May30. Fiona looking for support for TriCities ride with local police
