Supplemental meeting of the Burnaby LC of HUB - Nov. 27, 2023, 7pm to 8:10pm

  • Going over email from COB-DOT:
    • mentions changes to Midtown Bikeway based on our report.
    • Gamma Ave.
    • Wayburne Dr.
  • Upcoming meeting between LC Chair and HUB (Nav, Cathy)
  • Report from the most recent (and first) meeting of the COB Transportation Committee
    • How to work through council and transportation committee agendas.
    • Roger will send out emails drawing attention to council meeting agendas.
  • Upcoming Metro Van meeting in early Dec
  • Upcoming meeting about active travel to schools on Dec 11
  • Ongoing work for the overpass and how it affects Midtown (small detours)
  • Letters
    • Green paint is done, Blake will send it out shortly
    • Wayburne letter: discussing structure
  • Proposed Rapid Bus lines and whether they might affect bike traffic. Maybe not much.
  • First aid class done. Buy a first aid kit to organise social rides.
