  • CNV
    • Fiona has applied to the ITC committee (Integrated Transportation).
      • Notification expected first council sitting of 2024.
  • DNV
    • Duncan has found regular scheduled meetings to be encouraging and fruitful. May see as a model setup for DWV and CNV.
    • Spirit trail will be constructed in phases and to prepare work will be fast tracked along Most Seymour parkway.
      • Delbrook traffic calming
        • Bev Parslow reported that planning has commenced on traffic calming for this street north of Queens. Requested our support for this initiative. There is some neighbourhood opposition and neighbourhood groups are not providing much impetus.

  • First Nations
    • Links provided for transportation policies of our three primary contact nations.
      • Squamish Nation

  • DWV
    • Peter has been appointed to the environmental committee which will hopefully embrace AT.
    • DCAP(District Climate Action Plan) is established for DWV with scant mention of Active Transportation.
    • DWV does not have a Mobility Plan but there is increased pressure to have one as new transit routes proposed by North Shore Connects committee may soon be funded.
