Discussion with City of Coquitlam

• Representatives from the City of Coquitlam provided an overview of the Strategic Transportation Plan, E-Mobility Strategy, and Road Safety Strategy, including current undertakings and next steps.

Presentation from Tri-City Bikes and Brews

• Bill is head of Tri-Cities Bikes and Brews, a social group intending to build confidence and community among cyclists
• Generally members are casual
• Bill wants to remove barriers to cycling among members. Sometimes, skill in bike procedures (road positioning, hand signalling, brake procedures, etc) is low.
• Bill intends to provide a series of in-person lessons in public locations to allow members to become better acquainted with bike maintenance, operations procedures, etc. Could be a series of 4-5 lessons.

Action item: Colin will get in touch with Jonathan to try to get HUB Central involved. Intention would be for HUB Central to provide materials, funding, etc for a session for Tri-Cities Bikes & Brews to run.
