TriCities HUB Committee Meeting Minutes (provisional)

1. Presentation from Janna and Carly (ERHF) re Wheel to Heal Bike ride (Apr30, 2016)

ERHF fundraising provides 70% of funds for new equipment at ER. Looking for support from HUB in terms of promoting event,social media,email etc. 100 km route:considering the three bridges route over new PM bike lane. Committee offered to help with route definition/safety feedback.Possibility of a HUB info table at the event. Team captain kick off Jan 26 (Jack to attend).

2. Presentation from Moreno from bikemaps.org

New incident reporting tool to report: non-car collisions, near misses, falls, hazards, thefts. Runs on website or mobile app. No login required. Can register for more detailed data access. Website: bikemaps.org

3. Riverview position document

Follow up to recent BC Housing announcement re Riverview Lands. Committee discussed ideas for a position letter to BC Housing representing the vision of TriCities HUB. Meredith agreed to prepare the letter for comment.
