TriCities HUB Committee Meeting Agenda

Date/time: Tuesday Sept 3, 7:00-8:50PM.

Location: Coquitlam Public Library, 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

Agenda: (suggested)

1. Port Coquitlam Rivers and Trails Festival on Sept 28th. Port Coquitlam is looking for ideas and help from HUB on organizing a ride on PoCo trail and other events.

2. Working with local municipalities There have been a few bike related additions added this summer. In some cases we have been consulted, but in others, not. I'd like to discuss how to get the staff to consult with us more regarding new bike facilities. For example the city of Coquitlam recently put sharrows down Landsdowne, but narrowed the roadway in several places making it more challenging for bikes.

3. Dealing with MOTI After several years MOTI still refuses to make even minor changes to the Pitt River Bridge infrastructure. What can we do about this?
