TriCities HUB Committee Meeting Minutes (provisional)

Date/Time: Feb 2, 2016, 7:00-8:50PM.

Location: Coquitlam Public Library, 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

Attendees: George S, Colleen M., Jack T, Kari P., Dan M., Stan Y., Graham W., Sean R, Simon W.

Dan and Stan from Langley committee came to our meeting to share their experiences.

1. Discussion re. United Blvd

-PMH1 signage feedback discussed for comment to MOTI

-Discussed upcoming meetings with Coquitlam staff and Mayor etc. Try to keep pressure on.

-time to start building grass roots support for bike lane. Langley have large email list of supporters which they say is useful to demonstrate support.

-need to get on Coquitlam transport committee(as we have with Port Coquitlam and Port Moody)

2. Wheel to Heal:Jack will create team

3. Business cards:request cards with names on them. Langley committee has nice cards. Will take back to HUB.

4. Colleen M: Gave very nice demonstration of the features of her website for recreational cycling routes for all of lower mainland: http://www.letsgobiking.net/

Colleen is particularly interested in feedback on any errors or omissions.
