Location:
Barnet Highway between IOCO and Johnson.
Problem:
City of Coquitlam installed nice shoulders on Barnet a few years ago but there are some pinch spots that need to be fixed. Until this is done the City prefers to not call this a bike facility, hence it is not shown on the Coquitlam bikemap. Widely used by commuters and recreational cyclists.
Solution
Fix pinch points. Cost should be low. Could be part of a continuous route from Pitt River Bridge to Burnaby, via Barnet Highway.
